Albertsons Haul 6/28

Well, I made another trip to Albertsons. I didn't do as well as I did last time, but this time I did have a list of many things that weren't on sale (which I think really hurt my savings percentage). I also had my 15-month old daughter tagging along with me (which makes it a lot harder to concentrate on getting the best deals). I also didn't have many coupons for the items that I did need and I bought produce.

Albertsons $20 Catalina

Don't miss your chance to get $20 off your next shopping trip at Alberstons!

Right now, when you buy $100 in gift cards (excluding Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Albertsons) and use your Preferred Card...a $20 OYNT catalina will print at the register (expires 6/18).

This weekend was the perfect opportunity for me to take advantage of this awesome deal. I was able to pick up graduation, Father's Day, and a birthday present for all of the celebrations that I have coming up in the next week. I need to go grocery shopping soon, so the catalina will definitely help with the bill :)

About Me

I figured I should share a little bit of info about myself so any followers I get can get to know the person behind the blog.

I am 24. I've grown up with coupons my whole life. My mom is known as "the coupon queen" in our family. I am by no means an "extreme couponer", but I do use coupons to help stretch my family's tight budget. I have been married for almost 3 years now. My husband never used coupons before meeting me. I have been able to show him just how much coupons can actually save you. A little bit of time spent clipping means a lot of savings at the store. We have a beautiful 14-month old daughter. Coupons have definitely come in handy with buying baby supplies like diapers and food.

If you have any questions about me or couponing, feel free to ask :) I enjoy sharing my love for saving money!

Request Coupons

I wanted to share a couple links for requesting coupons that I learned about from Coupon Newbie.

$10 in coupons from Downy
This one seems to be 1 per e-mail address. I was able to register for myself, my husband, and my daughter.

$35 in coupons from Home Made Simple
One per household.

You can also text the word BARE to 467467 to receive a coupon booklet from Energizer and Cosmo Magazine. This is part of the ShopText program and standard text messaging rate may apply. You can check out this post from Deal Seeking Mom for more info.

Also, a few weeks ago I e-mailed General Mills to request some coupons or samples be mailed to me. Their customer service replied to my e-mail saying that they would send me some coupons. Those coupons arrived in the mail today. I received two $1 and two $0.50 off General Mills products. It's exciting to see such an easy tactic as e-mailing companies paying off.

Printable $5 off $25 Purchase at Albertsons

Ms. Building Up Da Benjamins ~ $5 off $25

Register to print off a $5 off $25 purchase at Albertsons. I was already registered to receive their e-mails, but was still able to "re-register" in order to print this coupon. Score!

John Freida Moneymaker at Rite Aid!

The Krazy Coupon Lady ~ John Freida Moneymaker!

Have you seen this awesome deal? I am on the hunt to find that $5 John Freida coupon. The 2 newspapers I bought today (Bellingham Herald & Seattle Times) only had a $2 John Freida coupon.

Happy shopping!
